Progress
Goal
-
To create a cozy game that visualizes and talks about the harm and pressure Vietnamese traditional family culture has on children.
Challenges
-
Writing and creating an authentic Vietnamese story is more difficult than I thought. I feel a lot more limited in my creativity and style, as someone who does think and write about fantastical narratives much more. However, I believe that just means I need more time to really refine the style and feel of this game. To achieve this, I've spent a lot more time playing cozy games and analyzing their components, redefining the goal of this game, and what kind of features I want to really implement.
